Agates and geodes have been popping up everywhere in the design world, and I’m going to let you in on a secret. They may look very expensive but, they don’t have to be!
The sticker shock is REAL on some of these organic stones, but lucky for you, finding an inexpensive stone is all about looking in the right spot. If you are at a fancy home decor store, save yourself from a mini heart attack and head to Marshalls or Homegoods and you can find something similar for a fraction of the cost.
Search for agate bookends that are dyed rather than having a natural color. They look just as good as the naturally occurring colors, if not better.
Last weekend babe and I went to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, and in the gift shop they had geodes for about $15!
Check out these beauties under $50!
